Class Support...

SUGGESTIONS FOR PARENTAL HELP IN MATH

REMIND your child to check the Assignment Sheet for homework assignments. These are handed out at the beginning of every week.
CHECK
to see that all loose math papers are stored in a separate math section of his/her binder and not just thrown into their backpack. Also, check that they are taking and keeping notes in a separate spiral notebook or small binder.
ASK
your child if any supplies are needed; pencils, red pens, paper, etc.
REVIEW
errors made on quizzes and homework. Samples of problems can be found in their notebook.
ENCOURAGE
your child to get help from me, and/or ask questions in class. A time can be arranged after school or at lunchtime.
